Before Viwork Studios

Recently purchased by Thor Equities LLC, Cheltenham Square Mall was being renovated and modernized. Our partner TerraNova Investments, LLC was contracted to implement and manage a digital signage network for the mall. This network would provide ad-based revenues for the mall.

How We Helped

Terranova Investments engaged Viwork Studios to design and deploy a digital signage network based on Scala InfoChannel 5.

First, Viwork Studios deployed a centralized InfoChannel Content Manager and Designer environment at Terranova Investment's central office. Our parent company, Correlative, provided network and security design support. This environment was designed to provide central management and content scheduling for Cheltenham Square and all future Terranova Investments-managed locations.

A mini network was deployed at the mall. This network provides Internet connectivity to the central office, Cisco firewall, InfoChannel Player and remote management capabilities. Nine 52" plasma displays where installed throughout the mall and connected to the player via a UTP-based video distribution system.

Benefit Realized

Cheltenham Square and TerraNova Investments now leverages this digital signage network to generate ad-based revenues. Ads for local businesses and stores are created and broadcasted on the network.

Viwork Studios and TerraNova Investments are currently expanding the digital signage network to additional Thor Equities malls throughout the United States.
